Los Angeles, CA- ADC Contemporary Art Gallery is proud to present “CYCLES” by Marco Miranda.

This exhibition includes Marco Miranda’s 15 newest works, extending the artist's fascination with "the reflection of light on a 'necessarily' elusive material surface." His strokes "know their place in a motif that exists entirely within the painting." According to Miranda, these new works in Cycles - ephemeral, cyclical-like paints that reflect light and change color when seen from different angles – are an attempt to realize his earlier, abstract works in color and graphite. The dynamism of the colors adds to the dramatic actuality of the paintings.

We have been pleased to represent his works in the past 4 years and now are excited to step into the contemporary art scene with his most recent paintings here at ADC Contemporary Art Gallery," says director Marisa Caichiolo. "I am eager to see his art receive the recognition it deserves."

Cycles exhibition at ADC Contemporary will consist of mostly paintings and wall installations on plexi glass . There will also be a group of smaller paintings that exhibits the genesis of Miranda's aesthetic.
These pieces, which represent his most fully-realized vision of his newest work, earned him success as well as attention and respect.

Born in Hermosillo, he received his master in Fine Arts in the University of Sonora, Mexico.
Miranda’s works are in numerous Cultural Centers and Museums and part of private collections; original works have been available over the last few years at several Galleries around Mexico and USA.
