Michael Alan creates moments in time that overlap drawing, painting, sculpture, music and video. They inspire live performance and installation happenings. on the closing night of Harmonious Opposites at Gasser Grunert, a 6 hour Living Installation performance entitled, “Cleaning the Clouds” will shake the ground.

Cleaning The Clouds; An expression for the need for change and the inevitability of change. Clouds represent a constant; newness, however minute, and the embrace of what is beautiful, intangible, ill at rest, and timeless in contemporary art. Picture a cloud cleaner heavy at work, pulling perfect clouds from the sky to clean them, honor them and attempt to change them, a continuous harmonic motion. We fix what we can not, we want we have, clouds are filled with love, he must learn to let them be. The clouds will be played by 8 amazing Drawathon Team Members ever so changing, willing to watched and drawn, painted and reinterpreted by the spectator, the artists, the critic, the moment. Come be a part of the artistic revolution in the nations capital of creative richness. Come make art, live now!

Gasser Grunert is a kind and breathtaking space with two levels and wall that reaches the sky and looks beyond, there is no place like home, there is no place like home.

Staring Theresa Magario Tm, Matthew Brennan, Steve Perez, Michael Alan, Sara K Edwards, Dylan Morgan, Dave Modello, and Michelle Woo
