Announcement of a two-day e-textile workshop focused on Handcrafting Textile Mice

The workshop will take place during the DIS conference on the 16th and 17th August 2010 in Arhus, Denmark.

To sign up for this workshop submit a one page project proposal to: plusea@mit.edu
Deadline for your submission to participate in the workshop is June 6.
Will will notify you of your acceptance to participate in the workshop by June 30.

Your project proposal should be based on the workshop description and demonstrate your ability to conceive a textile based interface that replaces your computer mouse. Describe how the interface is used, include sketches where appropriate. Do not worry about describing the technical realization in detail. We would like you to focus on the idea and the interaction design. Don’t limit yourself to your hands, think about full body interaction.
