7:30 L@TE: Skank Bloc Bologna Number Four: Grand Celebration
Start your weekend in the BAM galleries! Galleries Open until 9 p.m. with drinks and DJs in the lobby starting at 6 p.m., and an array of performances and other events happening on and around BAMscape in Gallery B.

The final night of Skank Bloc Bologna Number Four launches the ephemeral paper publication drawn from the previous time-based iterations of SBB4 in a grand Skank celebration. Unique to BAM/PFA, in an edition of fifty, the print version of SBB4 will include remnants from performances; CDs; flyers; stills; book pages; poems; program notes; photographs; and more. Videos of SBB4 L@TE nights will be shown; select contributors to issues one through three will read; and a surprise guest is in the works. Previous SBB artists have included Dodie Bellamy, Bill Berkson, Alejandro Cesarco, Urs Fischer, Ryan Gander, Skylar Haskard, Colter Jacobsen, Marie Jaeger, Kevin Killian, Annika Larsson, Tom Marioni, Bernadette Mayer, Allen Ruppersberg, Anne Waldman, and many others. In the words of Creative Time curator Mark Beasley, “May Skank have the life that Semina did.”

General admission to the BAM galleries is just $5 after 5 p.m. Show your ticket for a same-day PFA screening or gallery visit and get in free. Admission is always free for BAM/PFA members and UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff.
