This summer, Chicago’s Sustainovate Immersion program will empower sixteen leaders to build their capacity as agents of change in the sustainability movement. This multidisciplinary, holistic, and rigorous undertaking teaches participants the knowledge and skills necessary to forge a more durable future.

Designed for young professionals and recent graduates, this program consists of hands-on assignments for real clients, meetings with leading local innovators, field trips, and readings. Participants leave with increased sustainability understanding, experience, and connections.

Applications are due by April 12 and can be downloaded at www.foresightdesign.org/immersion. The program runs from June 16 to August 11 in Chicago, IL.

Sustainovate Immersion is a program of the Foresight Design Initiative, a nonprofit organization that fosters a more sustainable Chicago (http://www.foresightdesign.org). This program, formerly known as the Urban Sustainable Design Studio, is in its eighth consecutive year. The program is taught by Foresight Executive Director Peter Nicholson, who is often called one of Chicago’s best-connected sustainability professionals.
