REPORTS TO Associate Director, Education and Community Programs
CLASSIFICATIONPart-time (21 hours/week), non-exempt, grant funded
SUPERVISESmnartists.org contracted staff
RESPONSIBILITIES Promote and foster mnartists.org's leadership role and reputation as an innovative web resource for Minnesota artists. Develop and implement off- and on-line strategies that expand site awareness and participation. Assess and respond to the needs of Minnesota artists. Evaluate and develop enhancements to the mnartists.org web site. Develop communication plans and oversee marketing efforts to broaden project awareness. Perform administrative duties including development of grant proposals, budgets, contracts, and supervision of contract project staff.
QUALIFICATIONSDegree in related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in developing arts programs with strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills. Must have experience working with internet-based projects. Ability to work with a wide variety of people required. Familiarity with contemporary art and an understanding of the artistic process is essential.
