RETHINK consist of four separate parts with different themes:

RETHINK RELATIONS
NATIONAL GALLERY OF DENMARK, 31/10-5/4
RETHINK Relations focuses on the intensified awareness of global
interdependence that is brought about by the climatic changes. We are
inextricably linked to the rest of the world, and our actions affect people and
nature on the other side of the globe. The section shows art works by artists
who explore the potentials for new kinds of knowledge, experience and
sociality based on a fundamental awareness of relations and interdependence.

RETHINK THE IMPLICIT
DEN FRIE CENTRE OF CONTEMPORARY ART, 31/10-27/12
RETHINK the Implicit focuses on the changeability of the phenomenons, which
we normally take for granted.
The artist presented in this exhibition section creates a place where visitors are

change makes us rethink our way of living.

The point of departure for RETHINK Kakotopia is dystopian and utopian
fantasies related to climate change. Climate change has stirred up a debate
about how our future will look. Will the climate changes result in poverty,
drought and climate refugees, or can we use climate change to envision and
create a more sustainable world? The section exhibit works by artists, which
formulates an understanding of the chaos that might be a result of the climate
changes as well as visions for a society with new values and possibilities.

between art and science, and use the communicative powers of art to
communicate complex scientific data, which are often hard to grasp and
understand.
