Prism Pipe seeks retrofuturistic GIF and Video submissions for our "BACK TO THE FUTURE" show on October 19th at pehrspace in Los Angeles. Set to occur two days before the "Future" date of "Back to the Future II," we are looking for pieces that reflect a 1980s vision of the future in direct and indirect ways.

Artists are asked to submit original compositions under 1min in length for consideration. GIF and Video will be accepted, with GIFs being looped for display. Ratio of 640x480 (or equivalent) is preferred, and other dimensions will be formatted to fit the screen.

The submissions will be played without sound, to be live-scored by a musician TBA.

Sarah Zucker and Brian Griffith of The Current Sea will make selections to be projected alongside live musical performances by musicians TBA. The prompt is open for interpretation, but compositions that feature every color of the rainbow will be favored.
