Selections by Peer Review

Juried via a peer review process, this exhibition explores the processes by which artists support, sustain and participate in the launch of each other's work. The top ranking submissions will form a group exhibition at Pro Arts, presenting a survey of contemporary art arrived at through a community process. The program allows insight into review processes, while encouraging artists to think critically about their own work within the scope of Bay Area art.

About the peer review process:
Based on a peer review model, artists who submit work for consideration for the exhibition will be asked to review at least 50 other submissions (via Slideroom's online review system) and make selections based on designated criteria.

Peer Review Criteria:
Artwork demonstrates merit, excellence, innovation, and relevance.

Entry Deadline: Monday, October 19, 2015, midnight
Peer Review: October 27 - November 9, 2015
Exhibition Dates: December 11, 2015 - January 15, 2016
