Propeller Gallery is pleased to invite you to participate in -:-:-p.ART.icle-:-: an end-of-summer exhibition. We are accepting submissions for an exhibition of small-scale and affordable artworks. Our goal is to get YOUR art into the hands and homes of as many people as possible. Submissions should be small format works with approximate dimensions of 12"x12", 11"x14", 8"x10", 6"x6" or other similar sizes. Small-scale works on paper, canvas and mixed-media will be considered in addition to small sculptural works. If you are concerned about dimensions of your work, please do not hesitate to inquire.

Showcasing small original artworks in a mini salon-style, pARTicle will culminate in an interactive event coinciding with Nuit Blanche. Propeller will light up Abell Street leading to the gallery from Queen St. West and invite visitors to write down their wishes, thoughts, or poems on ribbons to weave into a growing tapestry. Of course there will be music too!

Submission Requirements:

• Name, address, email, phone number
• Artist Statement
• One image per work submitted (2000 pixels on the longest edge @72dpi)
• Works must be valued at $300.00 or under.
• Submissions must but small scale works (eg. 12 x 12, 11 x 14, 8x10, 6x6). If you are unsure whether your work fits these parameters please inquire.
• Submission fee: $30 for one submission.
o $10 for each additional submission (to maximum of 10)
o Submissions must be made all at once. You cannot make subsequent submissions without paying the initial $30 fee.

PLEASE NOTE that space is limited and submissions will be reviewed as received, with the final notification on Friday Sept. 18. All work must arrive ready to hang. Contributing artists may choose to donate a minimum of 25% to a maximum of 50% of the proceeds from any sales.
