The NARS Foundation is pleased to announce its fourth annual Juried Solo Exhibition Open Call. The NARS Juried Solo Exhibition Program provides emerging and underrepresented national and international artists with the opportunity to present a solo exhibition in New York City. The aim of the program is to create a platform for artists to experiment and exchange ideas while exposing their body of work to wider audience. The Juror for this year’s Open Call is David A. Ross, Chair of MFA Art Practice Department, School of Visual Arts. With over 30 years of art museum experience, Mr. Ross has held positions including Director of The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Director of the Whitney Museum of American Art, and Director of The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.
The artist must present a strong cohesive body of work produced within the last five years. If accepted, only the artwork included in the proposal will be considered for the exhibition. All artwork must be available for the entire exhibition term. The exhibition is scheduled for October – November, 2015 in the NARS Foundation Gallery in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Deadline: June 12, 2015
