  • Deadline:
    Jan. 19, 2015, 6 p.m.
  • Location:
Propeller, 30 Abell Street, Toronto , Ontario, M6J 0A9, CA

Propeller Gallery is holding a juried call for submissions and seeking works made in black and white. On view between January 28 - February 15, 2015, the exhibition will be presented in conjunction with "The Black & White Ball", held on Thursday, January 29th from 7-10 pm. All mediums & approaches are welcome; however only work in black and white will be accepted.

The exhibit is inspired by Truman Capote's 1966 Black and White Ball, held at the Grand Ballroom of New York City's Plaza Hotel. It was considered to be "the most posh event, not just of the year, but also of the decade, and maybe even the century". Iconic, bitchy, mysterious, elegant… just some of the many adjectives used to describe the event, and the guests. Let these engage and inspire you…

Submissions Requirements:
1. Multiple submissions are permitted, however only one image per entry of the work(s) you wish to exhibit
2. Details about yourself and your work including:

3. A brief written statement about the work (maximum 50 words)
4. Non-refundable Entry Fee of $50.00
5. Maximum size is 36" wide for 2D work.

*Work in colour will not be accepted*
