DG2015 Visiting Artist Series at Alys Beach
DG2015 invites artists, designers, photographers, and architects to apply for a seven day work intensive at Alys Beach, January 14-21, 2015, to produce a site specific work in projection mapping. Participants are given the time and space needed to develop their project, to discover new facets of their work as well as those found at Alys Beach.
To apply
This call goes out to those practicing projection mapping. The general call for DG2015 is now up and accepting submissions.
Going into its eighth year, Digital Graffiti has refined its offerings to include experimental cinema, animated shorts, generative and procedural art. This year we want to expand the use of projection mapping and invite four creators to choose a site at Alys Beach to map and texture one of many different structures with their style and intention.
Alys Beach will provide accommodations (7 nights in a shared villa), honorarium ($500/creator), ground transportation to/from airport, and projection hardware, to experiment and produce a work to premiere at DG2015, June 4-6.
Creators will be responsible for transportation to the Panama City Beach area, and any computers and software they require.
To apply, fill out the application here, or visit digitalgraffiti.com for more information about the festival.
