Nungu.com

Hi,

I have been working with nungu.com from August 2001 to the present
date helping out mainly with programming and technical issues.
In the course of my work I have worked on

the nungu.com site with Beatrice Gibson.

masala x and Mrs Jeevan Jham with Beatrice Gibson and Vishal Rawlley

on the Telematic Surveillance Project with Shefali Chad, Beatrice
Gibson and Rahul Guha.

In the masala x and Mrs. Jeevan Jham projects, at no time was I told
that either Ms. Gibson or Mr. Rawlley owned the project.
They were both jointly working on the creative aspect
while I have handling the technical aspect.
It was understood that Mrs. Jeevan Jham project was a project being
undertaken by nungu.com.

In the Telematic Survellance Project I have been working solely with the
persons I mentioned before and no mention of it was made by Mr.
Rawlley to me about this project. At the time the project was begun Mr.
Rawlley
was not associated with nungu.com
As per my understanding this project was undertaken by nungu.com
separate from the Jeevan Jham project.

Beatrice Gibson was not merely a "logistical co-ordinator" but has
been actively involved creatively in all the projects on which I have worked
with her.
At no point did I get the impression that Beatrice Gibson was trying to
"steal" or "take all the credit" for the work at nungu.com.
In fact there are several sites with links to the masala x site which
mention both Vishal Rawlley and Beatrice Gibson as
collaborators on the project. This would not be the case if Beatrice was
trying to "take all the credit".
One of the sites is
http://nyartsmagazine.com/63/websites.htm

And there are some suggestions that this is a "British Raj screws
Third world" thing. This is certainly not the case..
If you notice most of the collaborators (including yours truly) are
residents of Mumbai, India..
We are definitely not getting screwed / exploited / gypped /violated /
colonized etc etc.
