WHITE WAVE invites you to submit applications for two exciting 2013 Festivals: for the 13th Annual 2013 DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL (Sept. 26 - 29) and the 8th Annual WAVE RISING SERIES (Oct. 23 - Nov. 10).

13th Annual DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL The DDF is designed to showcase the work of 100 emerging / established dance companies from all over the USA and abroad. The DDF will kick off with an OPENING NIGHT GALA followed by a 3-day dance extravaganza in marathon-like performances. Except for the GALA, all performances are free of charge.

WAVE RISING SERIES Launched in 2006, the WAVE RISING SERIES furthers WHITE WAVE’s commitment to find, nurture, and expand opportunities for extraordinarily gifted artists. The 8th annual WRS will present 20 dance companies, showcased in full-length programs (30 min. per company). Each Wednesday will feature master class/workshops led by SERIES choreographers for students and professional dancers in contemporary technique, partnering or repertoire. We strongly encourage outstanding artists to propose new works for this series, which will run for three weeks.

We encourage emerging and established modern dance choreographers/companies to apply.
