Seeking expressions of interest in subsidised project spaces at Enclave, London's latest arts infrastructure.
Enclave is an ambitious new-build street of ten gallery-spec single units that launched in June 2012. Hosting national and international project spaces, galleries and residencies, Enclave forms a major part of a new masterplan for Deptford, South London and a major new addition to the art scene locally.
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for new and established international project spaces and collectives to join us at the site, to take a long-term space rented at significantly below market rates. This includes five weeks free use of the Enclave gallery in year one - an impressive 8 x 8m gallery that acts as an additional and professional exhibition/performance/residency/events venue. Tenants also benefit from the group momentum and mutual support provided by shared mailing lists, shared PV events, established local partners and links and an Enclave web portal.
The available gallery unit is highly finished, double height, heated, ground floor and fully wheelchair accessible. The subsidised rent and mutual support offered by the infrastructure offer a unique opportunity for start ups and experimental projects to establish a base in one of London’s most creative and up and coming hubs.
Tenants already onsite include Centre of Attention; Anarch; ATOI&CULL; Curatorial TIMESHARE; Occupy My Time; ALISN, Divus (Prague) and Umelec Magazine, plus the Enclave gallery and Enclave Machine Party clubroom.
Guide price £450/m inc.
