Help me (in the tone of the little man from
"Incredible Shrinking Man.")!!

I moved from Seattle to the SF BayArea and don't know
any artist's yet! SO. I'm ready to try attaching or
mounting various found objects (paper, plastic, rubber
(not condoms), wood, and metal)to a canvas board.

I could use some direction; previously I did oil's!
Can anyone give me some URL's to check regarding this.
Also what's a good protective spray coating that can
be used without degeneration of the media?
