Chair of the Art Department

Pace University in Manhattan invites applications for an anticipated position for Chair of the Art Department, at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The department is seeking a dynamic leader for a flourishing undergraduate department combining art, art history, and design. The successful candidate will have the appropriate terminal degree for their field (MFA or PhD), a strong professional record of exhibitions, commissions, or publications, and both college level teaching and administrative experience. Preference is for a practitioner with expertise in a New Media field, Film Production, or Design, but qualified candidates in all fields are encouraged to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Work samples: Please submit a maximum of 20 images, 72 dpi resolution, maximum dimensions of 1024 pixels and 4.0 MB size per image, or a 10 minute maximum video of sample works. Writing samples should include a maximum of ten pages representing published works. Please also supply an image/video/publication list with brief details about each work. Work samples must be submitted on a CD or DVD with your application.
