Call for Photo and Essay Submissions: "ElectroCulture"

The Reverbatory welcomes submissions of photography and essays for a special online edition on the culture of experimental electronic music, underground raves and moshes. Deadline for submissions is September 10, 2012 at midnight.

Photo submissions:

  • Up to three photos allowed per artist.
  • Resolution: 72dpi and at least 1024x768 pixels.
  • Please include short artist bio and statement, max of 250 words each.
  • Email to: reverbatory@ymail.com with the words "ElectroCulture Photo" in the subject line.

    Essay submissions:

  • Essays should be about extremely contemporary sound art, noise and experimental electronic music.
  • Maximum of 1000 words. We don't wanna read a novel on the web.
  • We are NOT looking for traditional academic papers. We want essays that analyze, criticize, philosophize, and prophetize.
  • The prose should be as contemporary and experimental as the subject matter.
  • Include brief bio about the author.
  • Email as inline text or attachment to: reverbatory@ymail.com with the words "ElectroCulture Essay" in the subject line.
