wrong. It lacks intuitive understanding of humanity & lacks empathy.

On the contrary

I consider myself someone with a big insight in the matter of being a
pissed off citizen in a country which is involved in a
silly-on-the-surface-religious-and-in-the-back-commercial-war

No corporation or government can not do anything if people there were not
already ready to attack each other ( maybe those who join the war deserve
to die in it )

So instead of feeding his anger by acting as an understanding foreigner I
think it is better to teach him the right and the ONLY way to stop the war

and that is to love his enemy
