Cronosfera Festival, a cultural event about Arts,Science and Sound Visions, pays attention to the Spherical-time as life blood which represents the imaginary, the considerations and the research about the theme. Through science Mankind is able to orient himself into time and space; through art he takes inspiration and contributes to the continuous creation of a collective thought.
The artistic representation, the international video competition called “Visions from the future”, the scientific meetings and the musical interpretation, will give a four-dimensional overview between art and sciences, from which will emerge the idea of cyclic time. Once dipped into this dimension, will be possible to visualize the holder of the spatio-temporal configuration and of the manipulation of the time.
Guests and visitors will be wrapped by words,images, sounds and visions. Suspended on the top of a hill, in between of Medieval constructions, an astronomical observatory, stone and high technology, someone can be deeply aware of the fundamental role of science and art in our present living. That is the journey through Cronosfera.
Competition Subject:
Cronosfera calls all the Video makers, to create , focusing their ciew on what is today the perception of Time and its influence on Mankind.
The Spherical Time is its life blood and represents the imaginary, the considerations and the research about the spherical-time theme. This year Cronosfera dedicates its 3rd
edition to the Sun, mother star of our solar system. Since antiquity, the Sun taught us the concept of Time, and following his daily spherical route we learnt its meaning. Through science Mankind is able to orient himself into time and space ; through art he takes inspiration and contributes to the continuous creation of a collective thought.
Time is spherical, space is meant both as a physical place and as space-time, the two of them together represent the place and the research of Cronosfera 2012.
The partecipations to the competition has no age limits and is free.

CronoSfera Festival, manifestazione di Arti, Scienze e Visioni Sonore, pone l’attenzione al Tempo-sferico come linfa che rappresenta l'immaginario, le riflessioni e la ricerca sul tema. Attraverso la scienza l’ uomo si orienta nel tempo e nello spazio; attraverso l’arte ne trae ispirazione contribuendo alla continua creazione dell’immaginario collettivo.
La rappresentazione artistica, il concorso video internazionale “Visioni dal futuro”, gli incontri sul piano scientifico e l’interpretazione musicale daranno una panoramica quadridimensionale fra arte e scienze, da cui emergerà il concetto di tempo ciclico. Immersi in questa dimensione sarà possibile visualizzare il “contenitore” fisico della configurazione spazio-temporale e della manipolazione del tempo.
Ospiti e visitatori saranno avvolti di parole, immagini suoni e visioni. Sospeso in cima ad una collina, fra costruzioni medievali, osservatorio astronomico, pietra e altissime tecnologie, ci si potrà rendere pienamente consapevoli del ruolo fondamentale di scienza e arte nel nostro vivere il presente. Questo il viaggio attraverso Cronosfera.
Tema del concorso:
Cronosfera chiama tutti i Videomakers, a creare, volgendo lo sguardo su quale sia oggi la percezione del Tempo stesso e la sua influenza sull’Uomo.
Il Tempo Sferico è la sua linfa che rappresenta l'immaginario, le riflessioni e la ricerca sul tema del tempo-sferico. Quest’anno Cronosfera dedica la sua Terza edizione al Sole, stella madre del nostro sistema solare. Il Sole fin dall’antichità ci ha suggerito il concetto di tempo e seguendo il suo percorso sferico quotidiano ne abbiamo percepito il senso. Attraverso la scienza l’uomo si orienta nel tempo e nello spazio; attraverso l’arte ne trae ispirazione contribuendo alla continua creazione dell’immaginario collettivo
E’ Spazio, è Tempo, è Sferico il luogo e la ricerca.
La partecipazione al concorso non ha limite di età ed è gratuita.
