1708 Gallery invites artists working in all media and disciplines to submit proposals for InLight Richmond 2012. InLight is an annual juried, public exhibition of light-based art and performance taking place Friday, November 2 in downtown Richmond, VA. 1708 Gallery encourages artists to propose site-specific projects. This year’s juror is Melissa Ho, assistant curator at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
An honorarium of $300 will be given to each project. All entries are eligible for the Best in Show award ($1500) and the People’s Choice Award ($500). Green projects are encouraged, and all green entries are also eligible for the Best in Green award ($1500).
The deadline for submissions is midnight, July 15, 2012.
