GENERAL INFORMATION
The San Jose Office of Cultural Affairs Public Art Program is seeking artists for the Art + Technology roster to create projects for the Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) and other technology-oriented public art projects in San Jose.

OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY

Budget: Projects ranging $15,000-$150,000
Submission Deadline: Monday, June 11, 2012, Midnight (MDT)

The San Jose Public Art Program shall seek industry partnerships to support the creation of this round of commissioning. The nature of the upcoming commissions and the site specific opportunities will emerge from discussions with partners. Commissioning schedule will be dependent on these negotiations and scheduled based on opportunities.

SELECTION PROCESS
The Art + Technology artist pool will be juried by a professional panel. Artists accepted into the Art + Technology Artist Pool will be considered for multiple opportunities and notified in advance if they are being considered for a project that draws from the artist pool.

ELIGIBILITY
This opportunity is open to all U.S. artists and artists who currently hold proper visas allowing them to work in the United States. Applicants must have all necessary permits to work in the United States. The San Jose Public Art Program will not be responsible for sponsoring work visas.
