The Master of Education in Arts of the Amsterdam School of the Arts organizes the international summer school Remix Culture from 2 to 7 July 2012. This intensive six-day course focuses on the interdisciplinary possibilities that audiovisual media offer for art and media education. Special guests are artist Evan Roth (France/USA) and art educator Prof. Dr. Paul Duncum (USA).

The second edition of Remix Culture offers arts and media educators new contents and didactics inspired by the contemporary media practices of professional artists and media-savvy youngsters. This successful summer school is intended for teachers, artists and students active in the field of art education who are able to implement the results of the summer school in their curriculum. The course will consist of formal lectures by inspiring experts, masterclasses, work and discussion seminars and field trips to contemporary art/media institutes in Amsterdam.
