The Sub-Mission
The Mission Projects presents: the Sub-Mission, an alternative installation project space, created to encourage and promote artists living and working in Chicago. Located below the main gallery, the Sub-Mission is a natural progression towards fulfilling our mission statement. Specifically, the Sub-Mission was created to showcase local artists and to give them an opportunity to create a dialogue between themselves and the surrounding community.

We believe this to be a unique project in Chicago—a raw space available for artists to transform, bounded only by their own vision. To view a floor plan, please visit our website.

Beginning January 2012 the Sub-Mission will select projects by individual or collaborating artists for exhibition.

Current CV
Brief artist statement
Detailed summery of installation project; including materials, installation timeline, and layout.
Self address stamped envelope ( If you'd like materials returned)

Deadline for proposals: January 1, 2012
