IRONBBRATZ IS REGENERATING THEIR PROJECT/EXHIBITION SPACE
CALL FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS // COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED!
About Ironbbratz:
Ironbbratz is more than just a studio
provider.  Alongside providing creative and professional development
opportunities in Glasgow we help emergent creative practitioners grow and flourish, keep them engaged in their practice post-study and give them a support network.
Ironbbratz studios are already of high-quality and in a central location and already host a series of professional opportunities that include open studio days, monthly critique sessions and an annual member show.
We place a strong emphasis on community and collaboration and strive to make the creative sector in Glasgow more accessible and inclusive. We offer opportunities to our members to participate in unique projects that improve and publicise their creative profiles.

About The Project/Exhibition space:
From 2010 – 2011 the Project/Exhibition space was part of a year-long residency for The Mutual. The group used the space for a variety of exhibitions and activities. Since their departure we are now looking for a new group of creative individuals to produce unusual and high quality exhibitions and projects within the support network of the Ironbbratz community.
The space is a good size and can be used in a variety of ways. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to develop an interest in curating or gaining experience in event/project management and
gaining general knowledge about working in a not-for-profit artist-led arts environment.
Although ideas and direction will be in the majority developed by committee members, allowing for a great deal of creative control, Ironbbratz would ask that applicants take into consideration the already existing motivations for the space.
Current motivations/interests include collaborative mentorship schemes between creative practices working both inside Ironbbratz and in the wider community and the plausibility of these schemes to provide unique exhibition opportunities.
The project/exhibition space is versatile and can be used for residency periods, workshops, events or exhibitions dependant on the ideas of the committee. The committee will also be invited to play an active role in potentially altering and re-evaluating the visual identity and current conception of the project/exhibition space at Ironbbratz.
