http://nowisnotenough.com is an ongoing project collecting wishes and memories by Louisville-based artist, Thea Lura.

Each wish and memory submitted at http://nowisnotenough.com will be represented by a string that the artist will tie and hang in an exhibition at the New Center for Contemporary Art in downtown Louisville.

All submissions are completely anonymous and are viewed only by the artist.

Inherently wishes relate to the future while memories relate to the past. By articulating desires and experiences and then transferring these ideas to a physical object one attempts to further connect to the future and past. At the same time, this manifests the intangible and makes the non-physical physical.
