W E E K E N D is a new artist-run space dedicated to showing the work of under-represented contemporary artists in Los Angeles and beyond. We currently are seeking works in any genre that are challenging and thought-provoking in concept, bold, and engaging. Writers (critical, theoretical, fiction and non, poets) are also welcome to submit an example of their work for potential display and publishing opportunities.
To submit your work for review, please e-mail your website URL or 5-10 low-res images and a short bio/statement to info (at) weekendspace (dot) org. For video and sound files, an online link would be great. Experimental film and videomakers may send DVDs of their work to 4634 Hollywood Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90027 for film nights.
Gallery hours: 11-6pm, Sat&Sun, and by appointment. The work is also available for viewing if the door is open, from 11-6, M-F. Stop by and say hello!
